Great analysis, Ram. I think couple more trends to look out for are:

  1. Automation in logistics: ATA had already projected truck drivers shortages for the next few years — will this accelerate more autonomous driving and robotics?
  2. Supply Chain reorientation: Many consumables and consumer goods are sourced from one or two regions pre-covid19. It will be interesting to see how much of that gets re-designed to account for disruption

The big thing we all used to hear pre-covid19 was “digital transformation” journeys that companies embarked on. It used to be measured in years. This pandemic has shortened that to weeks. Companies that come out of this successfully will be ones who have been able to digitally transform and change rapidly.
